Mafinga Hills - Zambia

Zambian coffee is hard to find in the Unites States. Known for its fruity notes, much like Kenyan coffee, but Zambia is smoother and more full bodied. 

Mafinga Hills is in the Northern province of Zambia, near the border with Tanzania. These are the highest peaks in the country. Grown above 1300 MASL (meters above sea level), its high altitude provides the coffee with exceptional flavor. 

The farm grows their coffee using organic farming methods and have their Rain Forest Alliance certification. Mafinga Hills Estates are meticulous about pricking only the ripe coffee, then processing it on site.
